Santa Muerte’s Throne 22cm

Santa Muerte, the Mexican folk Saint of Death, depicted as a woman in traditional Mexican female garments, she has a skeletal body with a beak protruding from the nasal cavity of the cranium. She is associated with protection, healing, financial wellbeing and assurance of a way to the afterlife. Sitting on a grand throne decorated in symbolic details, she sits tall, scythe in one hand and scales of justice in the other. This piece is cast in the finest resin before being expertly finished in bronze.
